1. Introduction & Trust Standards

At CtrlCopy, trust and transparency are the foundations of our luxury handbag platform. This policy outlines how we collect, verify, and moderate product reviews to ensure that they are authentic, spam-free, and representative of actual customer experiences.

2. How Reviews are Collected

We collect reviews through two primary channels to capture a balanced representation of customer feedback:

• Solicited Reviews (approx. 78%): These are gathered by sending automated post-purchase email invitations to customers after their order has been physically verified, dispatched, and successfully delivered.
• Unsolicited Reviews (approx. 22%): Registered members can submit reviews directly on our product detail pages or within their customer portal dashboard.

3. Verified Purchaser Verification

To prevent misleading reviews, we verify the origin of each submission. A review is flagged with a "Verified Purchaser" badge only if the reviewer's registered email address, name, and account details map directly to a completed purchase order of the specific product in our database. Reviews that cannot be matched to a confirmed transaction are labeled as unverified and are subject to stricter moderation.

4. Fraud and Spam Detection

We employ a multi-layered verification system to detect and block fraudulent, spammy, or manipulated reviews:

• Automated Filters: Our system automatically checks submissions for duplicate review IDs, rapid submissions from the same IP address, known spam keywords, and repetitive bot-like behavior.
• Manual Moderation: All reviews are placed in a moderation queue and inspected by our compliance team before they go live on our website or are pushed to external marketing channels.
• Spam Definition: Any review found to be written by automated bots, created in exchange for financial compensation outside of authorized promotions, containing unrelated advertisements, or written by individuals with conflicts of interest (e.g. competitors) is classified as spam and deleted immediately.

5. Review Deletion and Modification Policy

We believe in displaying honest buyer feedback. We do not edit, modify, or censor reviews based on their star rating (we publish critical reviews as long as they comply with our guidelines). However, we reserve the right to delete reviews that:

• Contain offensive language, profanity, harassment, or hate speech.
• Reveal sensitive personal information (such as phone numbers, physical addresses, or financial details).
• Are verified to be spam, fraudulent, or unrelated to the product in question.
